Trustees Call $295 Million Bond Election
Voters will have the opportunity to vote on the proposal on May 2, 2026.
Based on the recommendation of the district’s Community Advisory Committee, the Schertz-Cibolo-Universal City ISD Board of Trustees has called a three-proposition bond election. The $295 million bond proposal includes upgrades and renovations to facilities across the district, as well as stadium renovations and technology replacements.
Bond Presentation and Campus Tour Opportunities
SCUC ISD is providing opportunities for community members to learn about the bond propositions and tour district facilities ahead of the election. All meetings will be from 5:30-7:00 p.m.

From Process to Proposal
After the 2013 and 2016 bond elections, the Community Advisory Committee (CAC) began meeting to serve as an advisory group, focusing on bond projects, budgets, demographics, projections, trends and long-range facility planning. In September of 2025, the initial group of 15 expanded to over 75 parents, community members and campus/district staff.
The committee’s work culminated in a recommendation for a proposal that could be brought to voters, which was subsequently approved by the SCUC School Board on February 12. This recommendation was the result of a process that identified projects totaling over $500 million across the district. Through discussions and prioritizing projects, the committee came to consensus on a reduced list of projects, which were ultimately recommended to the Board.
